About K Heart
About our operation:
Let’s talk about the name “Ranchita,” which is the feminine version of the correct term “Ranchito” (small ranch). Ranchita is pronounced “RAN-CHEE-TUH”
The Ranchita is about 40 acres of hillside acreage and woods. Our entrance and kennels are under 24 hour video surveillance. My dogs have spacious outside kennels, puppy play pens, and enclosed whelping kennels in the breezeway connected to our shop. Across from the whelping kennels are two large industrial-style rabbit cages on wheels housing Holland Lop rabbits. From the back of the breezeway, you can sit and listen to the radio and overlook the horse pens and riding area.
When it comes to my dogs, I strive for quirky corgis that are fun for the family, can work on the ranch and do all the things any other cattle dog can do. I strive for well-rounded temperaments, focusing heavily on socialization. I strive for good looking dogs, from their conformation to their color and markings. Most importantly, I strive for SMART, athletic, loyal dogs.
As a professional hobby breeder, it is my job to make sure your puppy is happy and healthy.

I feed all of my adult dogs K-9 Rage 24/20. I feed less, and my dogs droppings are considerably smaller, making kennel cleanup easier!
I do sell K-9 Rage in 50 lb sacks. Contact me if you’d like to purchase a sack or two to try out!
50 lb sack- $30 (includes tax)

We test our dogs for a number of diseases. We test for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), VWD1 (Von Willebrands Disease, type 1), EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse), and other non-lethal tests including D Locus (Dilution, Bluie) and M Locus (Merle).
Terms & Conditions, to be signed prior to departure
Buyer acknowledges and agrees that Buyer will forfeit the Deposit and any rights to the Puppy if:
(a) Buyer fails to complete the purchase of the Puppy for any reason; (b) Buyer fails to pay the balance of the Purchase Price within seven (7) days of the agreed delivery date; (c) Buyer has “ghosted” (Not responded to Breeder) within 72 hours (3 days). Buyer acknowledges that the Puppy will not leave the premises until paid in full.
In the event that the Puppy becomes diseased, deceased, injured, or any other circumstance owing to the fault of Breeder, Buyer’s deposit may be refunded or transferred to next available litter, per Buyer’s request. Coccidia and giardiasis are not considered diseases and can be treated under the advice of a licensed veterinarian. Breeder has taken precautions to ensure the Puppy doesn’t contract coccidia or giardiasis. Giardiasis eggs can lay dormant in a puppy’s intestines and be manifested during periods of stress such as travel, being in a new home, etc.
Parasites often lay dormant and encapsulated in the muscle tissues of most adult dogs. The hormones from pregnancy and whelping activate and awaken these dormant parasites which then make their way down to the dam’s womb and mammary ducts where they are passed to the puppies. Encapsulated parasites in muscle tissues are not eradicated by the monthly wormer/heartworm treatment adult dogs are given, only live active parasites are. Deworming dam prior to and after birth helps to get the live activated/reawakened parasites and lessen transmission to puppies as well as catching various life stages as they awaken. We deworm puppies every two weeks as a precaution (weeks 2 and 4 they are given Pyrantel Pomoate, weeks 6 and 8 they are given Safeguard 3 days in a row to prevent coccidia and tapeworms.)
Should the Puppy pick up coccidia or giardiasis in the Breeder’s care, treatment may take a week to cure before departure. Breeder will waive the following, should that be the case:
After fourteen days (14) of the Puppy’s 8 week old birthday, a boarding fee of $20 per day will be charged for each day the Puppy is boarded by the Breeder, unless both parties mutually agree on a different solution.
Upon payment in full of the Purchase Price, Breeder shall promptly take all actions required to officially transfer ownership and registration (if any) of the Puppy to Buyer. Puppy should come with all registration paperwork upon departure, but some circumstances may occur that is not at fault of the Breeder. Breeder hereby guarantees registration paperwork to be mailed directly to Buyer by either the Puppy’s registry or herself.
Breeder represents and warrants to Buyer that: (a) The Puppy is in good health and free of communicable diseases at the time of this sale. Buyer has 72 hours from the delivery date to have the Puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian, at Buyer’s sole cost. If the Puppy fails the examination, the Buyer may return the Puppy, with a written statement from the veterinarian for exchange of another Puppy or full refund, minus the NONREFUNDABLE deposit one week from date Puppy visited Buyer’s vet for final determination. Failure by Buyer to have the Puppy examined within the 3 day period will nullify this warranty. Coccidia and giardiasis are NOT considered diseases and can be treated easily under the advice of your veterinarian. If Buyer chooses to keep the Puppy, no replacement will be given and all medical costs and treatment are sole responsibility of the Buyer. This health guarantee will be null and void. (b) This guarantee is for the Puppy to be in good health and free of obvious defects to the best of my ability. The one year guarantee does not cover any communicable disease, internal or external parasites. (c) To ensure that Buyer does not euthanize the Puppy (or Dog) or take it to an animal shelter, Seller will take the Puppy (or Dog) back at any time during the Puppy’s (or Dog) lifetime. Breeder will not issue a refund or provide another Puppy to Buyer unless the Puppy’s return was a result of any misrepresentation on the part of Breeder with respect to the Puppy’s health. (d) this warranty is permitted for the Buyer that K Heart Ranchita sold the puppy to, and cannot be conveyed or transferred to another person (i.e.- Puppy has been sold or given to another person)

About the owner:
My name is Kelsey Williams, I have owned corgis my entire life but did not decide to breed them until I purchased a black headed tri girl named Paisley. Her athleticism and drive to work really made want to start raising pups from her. She is extremely smart and an excellent listener. I’ve slowly been building my dog facility up since that purchase.
I am literally, quite obsessed with my dogs.
When I was a teenager, I raised show quality, pedigreed harlequin and tri color rabbits in several different breeds. I have some industrial-style rabbit cages with automatic waterers linked to nipples in each cage from when I raised rabbits. As of Spring 2021, I am raising rabbits in these color varieties again.
Long story short, I am an avid animal lover, and tending to animals is my livelihood.
I work at my local livestock auction on WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS and usually cannot meet with buyers on those days.
I team rope on a very small scale, it's hard to find time to practice with puppies on the ground and all these bunnies!
I buy, sell and trade horses and cattle on a very small scale.
If you have a horse you'd like to sell, I do purchase horses if they would be a good fit for me and my program. Check out the "We Buy Horses" page to see what I would be in the market for.
As of March 2021, my mother and I have purchased a booth in an antique mall and have been selling antiques and collectibles, used tack, saddles, western decor, and more.
I am proud of my facility and how far it has come since I started. When I first started raising corgis, I used Hog Panels and T-Posts for kennels! It’s been a working progress, and I still intend to keep upgrading!
I am also apart of the Good Dog community (gooddog.com) and I participate in their Avidog University online courses to further extend my knowledge about being the best dog breeder I can be. For your sake, for my sake, for my dogs’ and puppies’ sake!
My dogs are literally my best friends, one of my puppies could be your best friend too!
I appreciate every single person who is behind me on this journey. I’ve been blessed with some of the best buyers that I wouldn't hesitate to call my friend.
